Would a stock market analyst be a financial analyst or a statistician? I’ve always wanted to try the stock market thing.
Hmmm…that’s a good question! I think a stock market analyst is a little bit of both. Statistics is a pretty broad category, and statisticians can work in a variety of settings. I know that statisticians often analyze the market and perform risk assessments for large companies…I’m not sure if there is really a clear cut distinction between the two jobs in this case.
